Today, half most my friends are graduating from high school. I don’t know how to feel about that. I want to be happy for them because they’re finally going to be challenged. I want to be sad because I’m practically losing my social life. It makes me feel old because next year, that’s me! It makes me proud because one of my best friends is valedictorian. It makes me even more proud that ALL my friends are going to college after leaving Waukegan. We say it’s a hell-hole. It can be, not gonna lie. But isn’t high school in general hell? It’s what you make of it and they made my years best. It’s time for me to make my senior year the shit rather than shit. It’s time to be the leader because I have no choice but to be the leader.

Congratulations to Waukegan High’s Class of 2012. Love you guys. I swear, I’m gonna cry.
